Itinerary

After a good breakfast, you will head to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train that will take you, after approximately 1.5 hours of travel, to the Aguas Calientes station, the picturesque town located at the foot of Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will transfer to the bus station, which takes about 15 minutes to reach the entrance of the archaeological site. There, a professional guide will be waiting to accompany you throughout your visit inside Machu Picchu, sharing the history and the most important details of the place.

At the end of the visit, the guide will accompany you to the exit, where you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu town).

It is recommended to be at the train station at least 15 minutes before the departure time to avoid any delays. The return train trip will take around 1.5 hours back to Ollantaytambo, where a driver will be waiting to transfer you by van to your hotel in Cusco.
